On the Edge – Tall Trees Grove, Redwood Creek
22” x 29”
This is the grove that the battle for the Redwoods National Forest was fought over. The lumber company clear cut down to the creek on the left before the land was secured for the park. On the right hand bank stands the grove with the tallest redwood. The original oil painting is in the collection of a former lumber magnate.
